What are the membership fees?
New members pay a one-time registration fee plus Toastmasters International dues (billed semi-annually). Club dues vary slightly and help cover local expenses. Ask our VP of Membership for the most current rates.
Where exactly do we meet in the LCRA building?
We meet in the downstairs conference room of the Redbud Center at the LCRA Headquarters: 3601 Lake Austin Blvd, Austin, TX 78703. Look for signs or a friendly member to guide you!
What is the Post-Meeting Social (PMS)?
PMS stands for Post-Meeting Social — a fun, informal gathering after our meetings where members and guests can hang out, chat, and build friendships. Everyone is welcome to join!
What should I bring to meetings?
Just yourself! A notebook and pen can be helpful if you’d like to take notes or volunteer for a role. Guests are never required to speak.
What are the speaking levels in your club?
Our members range from brand-new speakers to seasoned professionals. Everyone works through Toastmasters’ Pathways program, which offers personalized learning paths in communication and leadership.
Are there other Toastmasters clubs in the area?
Yes — Austin has over 60 Toastmasters clubs! If our meeting time or location doesn’t work for you, we’re happy to help you find another club nearby.
What resources are available to support me as a speaker?
We offer mentorship, video feedback, speech evaluations, leadership roles, and access to EasySpeak and Toastmasters Pathways. You’ll also find tutorials and role guides on our Resources page.
